DESCRIPTION:La fable intemporelle de George Orwell revisitée par l’Ensemble Hors-Champ avec 7 musiciens et un comédien en direct de l’image. \nPublié en 1945\, La Ferme des animaux de George Orwell est un des rares ouvrages de l’époque à dénoncer les dérives du totalitarisme. Ce conte satirique dépeint les relations de pouvoir entre les animaux de la ferme questionnant ainsi nos démocraties et l’organisation de nos sociétés modernes. Considéré aujourd’hui comme une œuvre incontournable\, il devient rapidement un classique traduit et imprimé dans le monde entier. \nEn 1954\, John Halas et Joy Batchelor adaptent l’œuvre d’Orwell et réalisent le tout premier long métrage d’animation britannique “sérieux”\, alors que cette période est marquée par le succès des productions Disney. Aujourd’hui\, l’Ensemble Hors-Champ revisite cette œuvre intemporelle avec un nouveau format : un ciné-spectacle avec narrateur ! La musique a été entièrement recomposée pour un effectif instrumental original et diversifié. Les voix seront doublées en direct par un comédien.

DESCRIPTION:Dawning\, a performance-installation for accordion\, visual installation and electronics – WP \nMichael Winter: composition\, installation\, electronics\nBastien Pouillès: original idea\, accordion\, co-composition \nIn this piece\, Bastien continues to explore the possibilities of the performance-installation\, in which the performer takes place on stage with other elements like objects\, visuals and so on\, and are equally important. He also studies the ambiguity as a musical aesthetics. According to him\, by its characteristics and its possibilities of the sound production\, the accordion is the instrument of the ambiguity. \nThe original idea was to represent something surrealistic on stage\, like showing a natural phenomenon for a duration of a performance. Then he started his collaboration with Michael Winter\, who joined him on these concerns. After many exchanges\, Michael got focused on the idea of a dawning\, represented by the installation. The accordion\, by its two keyboards\, is able to play up to three distinctive timbres on each notes. The music is a deep exploration of the accordion timbres through a progression of an algorythmic combination of notes in a 4-notes chord. The shifting timbres structures the form and the emerging melodies\, that show all the ambiguity of the sound sources of the accordion. \nMeet at dawn!

DESCRIPTION:Im letzten Semester ihres zweijährigen Master-Studiums ‘Contemporary Performance and Composition’ mit Stationen in Tallinn\, Stockholm und Lyon freuen wir uns sehr\, diese neun wunderbaren jungen Musiker:innen aus Canada\, China\, Kroatien\, Österreich und Spanien nun schließlich in Hamburg begrüßen zu können. Das Thema Improvisation ist im Curriculum von CoPeCo ein zentrales Explorationsfeld und im Rahmen von blurred edges werden sie gemeinsam mit Vlatko Kučan (Projektleiter von SPIIC und Dozent für Improvisation an der HfMT) einen ‚Einblick‘ in diese Arbeit und die Kunst der Improvisation geben. Dabei werden tradierte stilistische und ästhetische Grenzen in Frage gestellt. \nSPIIC- Studio für polystilistische Improvisation und interdisziplinären Crossover \nImprovisation als universelle Methode und Haltung künstlerischer Produktion und Brücke zu interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit.\nDie Improvisation ist in den vergangenen Jahren zunehmend in den Fokus eines interdisziplinären wissenschaftlichen Diskurses gerückt: sie wird inzwischen nicht als eine Sonderform künstlerischer Praxis verstanden\, sondern zunehmend als eigenständige Position im Sinne einer grundlegenden ethischen Haltung\, als bewusste soziale Interaktionsgestaltung und als eine universelle kreative Methode nicht nur der künstlerischen Produktion.
